Shell Pipeline proposes Falcon Ethane Pipeline System

Shell Pipeline Company will launch a binding open season for transportation commitments on a 94-mile common carrier ethane supply pipeline, which will be constructed in Southwestern Pennsylvania and extend into West Virginia and Ohio. Construction of the pipeline is scheduled to begin in late 2018. The pipeline will be located where more than 70% of the North American polyethylene market sits, within a 700-mile radius of Pittsburgh. Technip Awarded Subsea Contract in Malaysia

Technip has been awarded a subsea contract by PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of PETRONAS, for the Samarang Redevelopment Project Phase 2 EOR in Malaysia. Under this contract, Technip will manage the engineering, supply, construction, installation and commissioning of flexible pipelines, with diameters ranging from 4” to 6”, as well as associated platform I-tubes. The contract will be executed by Technip’s operating center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and is scheduled for completion in Q3 of 2017.

Turkey, Israel to discuss building gas pipeline

 ISTANBUL (AP) — Israel and Turkey will consider building a pipeline that would carry Israeli natural gas to Turkey and onward to European markets, Israel’s energy minister said Thursday, during a first visit by an Israeli minister since the countries ended a six-year rift this summer. Five senators ask Obama to stop Dakota Access Pipeline for full review

(AP) — Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and four other Democratic senators are asking President Barack Obama to halt construction of the four-state Dakota Access pipeline until a full environmental review can be completed. In a statement, the senators said Thursday the request is due to a federal appeals court denying the Standing Rock Sioux’s motion for a temporary work stoppage in southern North Dakota within 20 miles of Lake Oahe. Technip awarded contract for Dvalin subsea development

Technip has been awarded an EPCI contract for the subsea development of the Dvalin field by DEA Norge AS. The Dvalin field development is a tie-back from a new 4-slot template to the Heidrun platform through a 15km long Pipe-in-Pipe production line. The development also connects the Heidrun gas export from Heidrun to the Polarled Gas Transport Pipeline through a new 7.5km pipeline. BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The company building the four-state Dakota Access pipeline plans to resume construction on private land near Lake Oahe in North Dakota, where protests supporting tribal rights have endured for months. Turkey, Russia Sign Gas Pipeline Deal

ISTANBUL (AP) — Turkey and Russia on Monday signed a deal to build a gas pipeline from Russia as the two countries pressed ahead with efforts to normalize ties. BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – The Corps of Engineers says it won’t yet authorize construction of the four-state Dakota Access pipeline on federal land in southern North Dakota. The corps also is asking Energy Transfer Partners to respect the government’s earlier request that it voluntarily stop construction on private land within 20 miles of Lake Oahe.  ISTANBUL (AP) — The leaders of Russia and Turkey on Monday voiced support for the construction of a gas pipeline, a plan that was suspended amid tensions between the two countries.
