Enterprise To Increase Capacity on Seaway Pipeline

(Reuters) Enterprise Products Partners LP said it plans to expand its Seaway Crude Pipeline System capacity to about 950 Mbpd from 850 Mbpd. The company said it expects to add drag reducing agents (DRAs) to boost capacity on the Seaway 2 line by about 100 Mbpd. The Seaway system hauls crude from Cushing, OK, the delivery point for U.S. oil futures, to Gulf Coast refineries. Medallion Pipeline Co. began a binding open season to solicit long-term, firm shipper commitments for a major expansion of its crude oil pipeline system in the Midland Basin. Fire Breaks Out at Plains All American Crude Tank

(Reuters) – A fire broke out Tuesday morning at a Plains All American Pipeline crude storage tank east of Wichita Falls, Texas, the company said. The fire was limited to a single storage tank at the Wichita Falls Station, the company said, and none of its workers were missing. Plains did not say if there were injuries, but first-responders were on site. Plains did not specify whether the fire had affected any other operations. (AP) — A New York City woman who was injured in an explosion while protesting the Dakota Access oil pipeline lost a legal battle to obtain evidence she wanted to bolster a civil rights lawsuit against law enforcement. Medallion Pipeline Company said it successfully closed a binding open season for a major expansion of its Permian crude oil pipeline and launched a supplemental open season for additional capacity in response to “compelling interest” by potential shippers.
