The Mackenzie gas project joint-venture participants today announced that they have decided not to proceed with the project at this time and are dissolving the joint venture. Since work on the Mackenzie gas project was initiated in 2000, the North American natural gas market has changed significantly. Magellan Midstream Partners LP intends to develop a new pipeline and has launched an open season to assess customer interest to transport various grades of crude oil and condensate from the Permian and Eagle Ford basins to multiple destinations in the Corpus Christi and Houston, TX markets, including Magellan’s existing crude oil terminals in these markets. Tellurian to Develop Three Major Pipelines for Pipeline Network

Tellurian Inc. announced that it expects to develop the Tellurian Pipeline Network, which would include the previously announced Driftwood Pipeline (DWPL) and two additional pipelines that would expand supply alternatives for the growing natural gas demand in Southwest Louisiana. DWPL is anticipated to be in-service mid-2021 and the additional two pipelines are anticipated to be in-service by the end of 2022, subject to commercialization.
