Fox joins Laney after a 19-year career with Willbros Group, Inc. where he was most recently president of the Willbros Construction division of the Willbros Group, Inc. He previously served as president of Willbros Engineering. During his career, he has performed various engineering functions, managed EPC projects, directed multiple-project programs, and has held numerous senior management positions with increasing responsibility.
Based in Humble, TX, Laney has completed some of the longest and most challenging HDD crossings in the pipeline construction industry in the U.S. and globally.

Rhino Linings Corporation has acquired Tobin Manufacturing LLC, a manufacturer of two component positive displacement meter/mix/dispense equipment. Tobin will relocate its operations to the Rhino facilities in San Diego, CA.

Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers recently conducted a multi-million dollar unreserved heavy equipment auction at its auction site in Dubai, UAE. Of the 1,950+ equipment items sold, 115 were sold for the Jan De Nul Group, one of the largest dredging and marine engineering contractors in the world. Their package included a large selection of late model wheel loaders, crawler tractors and hydraulic excavators.
The auction also included the highest value equipment item ever sold at the Dubai site, a multi-component SBM Closed Circuit Jaw/Impact Crushing Plant. The plant, which includes primary and secondary crushers, screens, generators, conveyors, a control house and more, was sold as one auction lot. After more than 10 minutes of bidding, the plant was sold to a Saudi Arabian buyer for US$1.8 million.

Acculloy Manufacturing Solutions has begun operations at PerformaCoat, Inc., a new division performing advanced protective and lubricating coating services for oilfield tool, machined component, assembly and mold and fabrications manufacturers in the Gulf Coast-area. The new PerformaCoat operation is housed in a 12,000 sq. ft. facility at 14014 East Hardy Road in Houston, TX.

Robert Berkley (Cowboy Bob) Tuckness, 64, passed away on September 13, 2010. Tuckness was a member of IUOE Local 178 in Fort Worth, TX and worked throughout his life on pipelines. He worked for Gregory & Cook, Great Plains, H.B. Zachary and a number of other PLCA contractors. He was also an instructor for the IUOE and PLCA pipeline training schools. He is survived by his wife Linda, four sons, two daughters and 15 grandchildren.
Richard Vick, 60, of Azalea, OR, passed away on September 13, 2010. During his pipeline career, Vick had most recently worked for Snelson Companies, Inc. and U.S. Pipeline, Inc. His wife, Pat, and his two sons, Shane and Hunter, survive him.
