Enbridge Can Use Extra Temporary Workspace for Pipeline Projects

Posted on

FERC has approved Enbridge’s request to utilize 0.71 acres of additional temporary workspace on the Wheelersburg to Athens Loop in Meigs County, Ohio as part of the Access South, Adair Southwest, and Lebanon Extension projects.

According to Enbridge, the additional temporary workspaces at mileposts 612.3 and 613.4 would support topsoil segregation and better accommodate construction on side slopes, while the two at milepost 620.6 would allow for spoil storage associated with wetland and waterbody construction.

Once finished, the Access South, Adair Southwest and Lebanon Extension projects will enable shippers to deliver new natural gas supplies from the Appalachian region to markets in the midwestern United States. All three projects are expected to be in service in November 2017.
