Enbridge Makes Progress On 6B Line Expansion Project

Enbridge has provided a project update on its 6B Line Expansion in Indiana and Michigan. In Lake County, IN, clearing and right-of-way have been completed and construction launched in September.
  In Porter County, IN, clearing and right-of-way have been completed and construction launched in September. In La Porte County, IN, phase 2 construction is 5% complete with clearing underway. In St Joseph County, IN, phase 2 construction is 10% complete with clearing done.
  In Berrien County, MI, phase 2 construction is 50% complete with clearing, grading, stringing, bending, welding and coating activities underway.
  In Cass County, MI, phase 2 construction is 50% complete with clearing, grading, stringing, bending, welding and coating activities underway. In St Joseph County, MI, phase 2 construction is 50% complete with clearing, grading, stringing, bending, welding and coating activities underway. The 2012 Replacement Project is complete with restoration underway. In Kalamazoo County, MI, phase 2 replacement is 50% complete with clearing, grading, stringing, bending, welding and coating activities underway. In Calhoun County, MI, construction is done on the 2012 replacement segments with restoration underway. Phase 2 replacement is 50% complete with clearing, grading, stringing, bending, welding and coating activities underway. In Jackson County, MI, phase 2 replacement is 50% complete with clearing, grading, stringing, bending, welding and coating activities underway. In Ingham County, MI, construction is done on the 2012 replacement segments with restoration underway. Phase 2 replacement is 50% complete with clearing, grading, stringing, bending and coating activities underway. In Livingston County and Oakland County, MI, construction is done on the 2012 replacement segments with restoration underway. Phase 2 replacement construction is to begin soon. In Macomb County and St Clair County, MI, phase 2 replacement construction is to begin soon.
  All sections are slated to be in service in early 2014.
