FERC Approves Construction for Three Spectra Projects

FERC has approved Spectra Energy’s request to begin the following construction activities for the Access South, Adair Southwest and Lebanon Extension projects:

  • 15.8 miles of 36-inch- diameter pipeline and related appurtanences at three locations in Athens, Meigs, Noble, and Monroe Counties, Ohio
  • 0.5 mile of 16-inch-diameter replacement pipeline within Texas Eastern’s existing right-of-way in Attala County, Mississippi, and use of access roads and contractor yards.
  • Modifications at nine existing compressor station sites in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, Alabama, and Mississippi

Spectra’s Access South, Adair Southwest and Lebanon Extension projects will provide shippers with the opportunity to deliver new natural gas supplies from the Appalachian region to markets in the midwestern United States. All three projects are expected to be completed in November 2017.
