FERC OK’s Compressor Station Modification for Three Enbridge Projects

Posted on

FERC has approved Enbridge’s request to modify the current roadway design for the Danville Compressor Station in Lincoln County, Kentucky as part of the Access South, Adair Southwest, and Lebanon Extension projects.

According to Elaine Baum, Environmental Project Manager with FERC, Enbridge has permission to use a different station entrance with increased sight distance to ease maneuverability within the station for a greater turning radius associated with large truck deliveries, and support continued safe station operations.

Once completed, Enbridge’s Access South, Adair Southwest and Lebanon Extension projects will enable shippers to transport new natural gas supplies from the Appalachian region to markets in the midwestern United States. All three projects are expected to be operational in November 2017.
