FERC: TransCanada Can Commence Service on Cameron Access Project

FERC has approved TransCanada’s request to commence service of the Cameron Access Project in Jefferson Davis, Cameron, and Calcasieu Parishes, Louisiana.

According to FERC’s Rich McGuire, rehabilitation and stabilization of the construction workspaces is proceeding satisfactorily.

The Cameron Access Project consists of improvements to existing pipeline and ancillary facilities, a new state-of-the-art compressor station near Lake Arthur, Louisiana, and the installation of a new pipeline in Cameron Parish to provide for additional market access to the Cameron LNG Terminal.
