Posted on

FERC has approved TransCanada’s request to use the following additional temporary workspaces along the Leach XPress Project’s LEX Pipeline:

• 2.45 acres, south side of right of way at mileposts 32.23 to 32.30 in Monroe County, Ohio to retrieve sediment and repair a slip

• 4.26 acres, south side of right of way at mileposts 32.39 to 32.50, in Monroe County, Ohio to retrieve sediment and repair a slip

• 0.21 acres for a new temporary 25-foot- wide by 363-foot-long access road (TAR-260) from the north side of the LEX right of way at milepost 118.16 to retrieve timber mats

The $1.4 billion Leach XPress Project will allow for the safe transport of 1.5 Bcf/d of natural gas from the Marcellus and Utica supply basin along the 160-mile greenfield project, which crosses the northern panhandle of West Virginia and then traverses southeastern Ohio.
