Posted on

FERC has approved Kinder Morgan’s request to place into service the Triad Expansion Project in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania.

According to FERC’s J. Rich McGuire, the company has adequately stabilized areas disturbed by construction and that restoration is proceeding satisfactorily.

The Triad Expansion Project consists of approximately seven miles of new 36-inch diameter pipeline looping along Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company’s existing line right-of-way in Lenox and Clifford Townships, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. Upon completion, the project will increase natural gas delivery capacity by approximately 180,000 dekatherms per day. The project is expected to be operational on Nov. 1, 2017.
