Gazprom LNG Facility To Serve Asia Pacific Markets

Gazprom’s management committee has approved investment for construction of the Vladivostok-LNG project near Vladivostokm, Russia. The project calls for the construction of an LNG plant on the Lomonosoy Peninsula (Perevoznaya Bay). The plant will have three process trains with a capacity of 5 million tons per annum (mtpa) each. The process train is scheduled to come onstream in 2018.
  Gas from the Sakhalin gas production center as well as the Yakutia and Irkutsk centers will serve as the resource base. The target markets for the LNG are Asia-Pacific countries.
