Klumb Family Foundation Raises $110,000 For Make-A-Wish Foundation® Of Wisconsin

On September 13th  the Dennis & Janice Klumb Family Foundation held its 16th annual celebrity charity golf outing to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin and raised $110,000.
  In 16 years,  the Klumb Family Foundation Outing has raised in excess of $1,228,098 and  granted 280  wishes. The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of Wisconsin children living with life threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
  In all, 185 golfers enjoyed blue skies and warm temperature, at the Geneva National Golf Club in Lake Geneva, WI and bid on various silent and voice auction items.  Green Bay Packer Jordy Nelson served as the celebrity keynote speaker and guest. 
  For the 10th year, Tom Pipines, sportscaster and sports director of Fox 6 in Milwaukee served as Master of Ceremonies. Other celebrities who participated in the event included former UW Athletic Director and All-American Pat Richter, Heisman Trophy winner Ron Dayne, Milwaukee Bucks General Manager John Hammond,  Bucks Director of Scouting and former All-Big Ten player Billy McKinney, ESPN Radio Host and Marquette Radio Announcer Steve “The Homer” True, 2002 speed skating Gold Medalist Casey FitzRandolph,  3x Olympian in Track Suzy Favor Hamilton, former Badger hockey player Mike Cerniglia, former Badger and NFL place kicker Jim Bakken, former Green Bay Packer players Leroy Butler, Don Beebe, Dave Robinson, Billy Schroeder and Gary Knaflec; former Milwaukee Brewers’ Jim Gantner, Jerry Augustine, Gorman Thomas and Ken Sanders,  UWM Ladies basketball Coach Sandy Botham, Marquette Ladies Basketball Coach Terri Mitchell, former Milwaukee Admirals GM and player Phil Wittliff and Danny LeCours, former Marquette All-Americans Tony Smith, Bo Ellis and Jim McIlvanie and local TV personalities Lance Allan, Susan Kim and Vince Vitrano of WTMJ TV 4.
