Award presentations were conducted during the NASTT’s No Dig Gala Dinner on Tuesday, March 17, in Denver, CO. This prestigious award recognized three individuals that have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of both the trenchless technology industry and the NASTT organization.
Industry leaders nominated Ron based on his various contributions including his participation in NASTT educational seminars; numerous industry-related papers written and presented by Ron as well as his innovative, patent-holding procedures currently in use by HDD contractors and consultants throughout the world. Ron graciously received the award thanking not only the NASTT board and its members, but also his wife, Lynn, for sacrifices made to support his career.  He also thanked the founding father of HDD, Martin Cherrington, and brought additional recognition to a person that helped propel the trenchless industry into what it is today, as well as its promising future as a strong and innovative industry.
