Denso
Denso North America has introduced the new Protal Air Cartridge Gun (1000 ml), that offers big improvements from its predecessor. As the name implies, you can now spray 1000 ml cartridges instead of the previous 400 ml cartridges. This allows the user to spray longer and complete the job faster without having to replace the cartridge as often as before. It was designed for use with fast and easy setup, minimal material waste and minimal equipment maintenance. It also features functionality of controlling airflow and fluid pressure right at your fingertips to give precise control. Additionally, the spray gun includes a swivel handle and optional shoulder strap to provide added comfort. www.densona.com

ESCO Tool
An air-powered saw and pipe trolley system that cuts all materials and pipe schedules up to 60 inches in diameter  to produce perfectly square cuts with no HAZ (heat affected zone) is available from ESCO Tool.  The Esco APS-438 Air Powered Saw and WrapTrack® pipe trolley lets operators rapidly cold cut pipe with ±1/16-inch  accuracy and no HAZ to permit better end prep bevels for welding.  Suitable for cutting all pipe schedules of P-91, Super Duplex stainless steel, and other hard materials, the saw comes with fiberglass reinforced abrasive or diamond tipped carbide blades and the stainless steel band assembly clamps around pipe from 6- to 60-inch diameter.  Capable of cutting a 10-inch Sch. 160 pipe in less than 10 minutes, the Esco APS-438 Air Powered Saw has a 3 HP pneumatic motor and cuts pipe walls up to 4-3/4-inch thick.  Featuring four “V” grooved stainless steel roll guides, the saw mounts rigidly on the WrapTrack® pipe trolley, is fully supported to reduce strain on the operator and glides smoothly around the pipe. www.escotool.com

Newpark Mats And Integrated Services
Newpark Mats and Integrated Services, a unit of Newpark Resources  recently commemorated the production of its 250,000th DURA-BASE® Advanced-Composite Mat. Designed to last 5 times longer than wooden mats, and weighing less than half as much, the mats are produced from a tough non-slip advanced-composite formulation that withstands bearing loads in excess of 600 lbs per sq-inch. They are said to weigh over 50% percent less than wooden mats, which saves considerable time and transportation cost. They are designed as a single piece, with no individual parts requiring bolts or fasteners to hold them in place. Their versatility also makes them suited for use as temporary roadways, in addition to worksite padding. This has led to widespread adoption of the advanced-composite mat systems in not only the pipeline industry, but also in the oil and gas, pipeline, mining, construction, heavy haul, military, and entertainment sectors. www.Newmark.com

Vermeer
Vermeer introduces the Hole Hammer pneumatic piercing tool that can operate in a full range of soil conditions and applications that offers innovative features to provide exceptional control and easy start-up.  A moving-head design provides full striking force of the piston to the head of the tool pulverizing stones into the surrounding soil. The residual energy generated is used to help the tool body travel through the compacted bore path. Because Hole Hammer tools feature a mechanical spring reset design, the head fits tightly to the body of the tool, resulting in an easy and smooth-starting tool. Two head assembly designs are offered, helping increase versatility within a single tool purchase. Contractors can purchase one tool and change the head — standard replaceable or moving-head assembly — as they move among varying ground conditions. The Hole Hammer tool incorporates an air-on quarter-turn reverse function, allowing the operator to reverse the tool quickly — even with the air on. The Vermeer Hole Hammer piercing tool is available in 2-, 2½- and 3-inch sizes. salesinfo@vermeer.com.

Weiler
Weiler’s new Tiger PawTM abrasive flap discs are designed for aggressive performance on tough EDGE grinding applications. The company says the 100% zirconium flap discs are designed to last 30-40% longer.  The Tiger Paw’s multiple layers of coated abrasive material expose sharp, fresh grains as they slowly wear away, and the 100% premium zirconium grain prevents premature grain shedding on aggressive applications, resulting in increased productivity and reduced operating costs. Weiler’s phenolic back Tiger Paw is available in 4 ½-  and 7-inch sizes with or without a 5/8-11-inch nut in both Type 29 and 27 standard and Type 27 super high density configurations.  The Type 29 configuration is made for tough, aggressive applications.  The super high density Type 27 configuration contains 35-40% more flaps for increased flexibility, extended life and lower operator fatigue.  Popular uses for the Tiger Paw include pipe beveling, EDGE chamfering, weld blending, grinding, deburring, stock removal, surface finishing and blending. www.weilercorp.com

Emco Wheaton
Emco Wheaton has developed the Posi/Lock Blue™ that is designed to make it easier to refuel Urea into off highway equipment and bus fleets. The company says the new product works because it is smaller in scale than Emco Wheaton’s traditional Posi/Lock system which prevents it from accidentally being connected to existing Posi/Lock 105® adapters or any other refueling systems on the market. Thus it eliminates the risk of cross contamination and ensures the purity of the “aqueous urea solution.” A no spill connection provides for a clean working environment and unmanned filling, allowing the operator to do other duties. Posi/Lock Blue™ is also lightweight and incorporates automatic shut off using vacuum technology, which ensures the tank is always filled to 85% of its capacity, eliminating the risk of overfilling as well as under filling.  www.emscowheaton.com
