Lincoln Electric
The new, lightweight VIKING™ 1740 Series Auto-Darkening Welding Helmet from Lincoln Electric offers a variety of features designed to reduce the cost of ownership while providing solid protection from a basic helmet offering. Weighing in at 18.6 ounces, this entry-level helmet series features solar power with battery assist, eliminating the need for an on/off switch. A continuously variable, internal, 9-13 shade control offers sensitivity adjustment for different welding environments and features adjustable delay time from a dark to a light setting. It is also magnifying ‘cheater’ lens and hardhat compatible. Extra cover lenses also are included — two for the inside and five for the outside.
ESAB Welding & Cutting Products
ESAB Welding & Cutting Products is offering a new range of TXH™ GTAW (TIG) welding torches. The new TXH torches have a highly ergonomic design, are convenient to operate, and produce high quality results in all common GTAW applications. They are designed for use with ESAB GTAW machines that have an OKC connection, including ESAB Caddy® Arc, Caddy® Tig, and Heliarc® 281i, 283i and 353i models. Remote versions will operate with CAN-bus controlled machines. A range of air-cooled and water-cooled TXH torch packages are available, including remote versions. All torches comply with EN60974-7 GOST-R and CCC standards. TXH torches can be specified with or without a gas valve and with or without a flexible neck, according to individual preference and intended usage.

Graebener-Reika Inc.
Graebener-Reika, Inc. offers its Graebener Maschinentechnik pipe forming presses for producing large diameter line pipe used in pipeline or utility distribution systems.  These presses are suited for producing pipes with increased yield points and large wall thickness-to-pipe diameter ratios, where the forces required exceed the physical limits of traditional roll bending machines. The company says a key advantage of the Graebener press is its ability to form an extensive range of pipe sizes without having to change the tool, providing both a production and price advantage. It can process large format plates into pipes with a diameter range of 16- 64 inch, lengths up to 60 inches, wall thickness of up to 2.92 inches and grades as challenging as x1200 and x120.

GMTA (German Machine Tools of America) represents various German metalworking machine builders, including Profilator, Pittler, Praewema and WMZ.  These machines are sold to the North American market by GMTA primarily for gear and spline production, as well as other power transmission applications.  The company’s target markets include automotive, off-highway, OCTG and other heavy equipment manufacturing.  Machines are provided for gear honing, gear grinding, Scudding®, polygon milling, turning, gear tooth pointing and multiple machining operations.

Ditch Witch®
The SaverLok™ System, (patent-pending) from Ditch Witch® is designed to offer a quick and secure connection against wear and tear on the drill pipe. The primary benefit of the SaverLok System is increased directional drill uptime. It is designed to provide strong and tight connection, as the torque is carried through dowels instead of threads. The system consists of a SaverLok, collar or flange and a gearbox connection. With proper use, only the SaverLok should need replacing, which saves time and money compared to one- and two-piece designs.

T. D. Williamson
The Clamp Installation Tool (CIT) from T.D. Williamson is a diverless, remote-controlled system for installing clamps or fittings on subsea pipelines. Typically, such pipelines require repair or must be prepared for tie-ins to new pipeline networks.  TDW developed the remote-controlled CIT to offer pipeline operators a diverless method for installing mechanical tees or as part of an integrated hot tap assembly. When coupled with TDW’s remote-controlled Subsea 1200RC Tapping Machine, which is used to carry out diverless subsea hot tapping at depths down to 3,000 meters the entire subsea process — from clamp installation to hot tapping — can now be performed without diver involvement. The compact CIT is operated remotely through a laptop by an experienced technician onboard a diving support vessel (DSV) or platform.

American Innovations
American Innovations has released the Bullhorn RM4150 for accurate remote monitoring of cathodic protection (CP) assets.  By collecting and communicating rectifier measurements using GSM networks, operators can meet 49 CFR 192/195 regulations and protect their pipelines. The RM4150 RMU was created to monitor rectifiers used in cathodic protection systems. It has five analog channels and two digital channels to monitor rectifiers on pipelines, well casings, tanks and other assets. The unit measures AC & DC volts and amps, pipe-to-soil potential, shunts, Instant Off, line power presence and more – all with 1% of reading accuracy.  This allows high resolution changes to be observed and monitored, and allows the measurement of very low mV readings to accommodate current shunt measurements.

Miller Electric Mfg.
