Great things come in small packages with the release of Denso North America’s Protal 7125 (50 ml) Repair Cartridge. Utilizing the same reliable coating repair technology as Protal 7200 (50 ml) Repair Cartridges, customers can easily apply Protal 7125 in the field or shop for patching repairs or holidays to FBE coating. Protal 7125 is formulated to be applied to colder substrates at colder ambient temperatures down to -4˚F (-20˚C) and has a very fast cure time (approx. 15 minutes at 90˚F / 32˚C). Save money by using the 50 ml repair cartridge to repair your pipeline coating anywhere it’s needed.

WorldWide Machining & Welding Inc.

WorldWide Machining & Welding Inc. has developed and is now manufacturing an Adjustable Flange Lifting Tool. Adjustable Flange Lifting Tools may be used in a shop or field setting to improve accuracy of two-hole leveling, simplify the overall process, and reduce safety hazards during the attachment and installation of a flange. Each 1000# Adjustable Flange Lifting Tools is machined out of T-1 and grade 50 steel for maximum durability and features: 1-inch threaded acme rod for precise alignment; 1.5-inch cam follower to alleviate lifting stress on the threaded acme rod; reversible ratchet and attachment points; heavy-duty hoist ring; and a powder-coated finish. Each 3000# Flange Lifting Tools is machined and fabricated out of T-1 and grade 50 steel for maximum durability and features: 2-inch threaded Acme rod for precise alignment; 2-inch cam follower to alleviate lifting stress on the threaded Acme rod; reversible ratchet and attachment points; dual action Acme nuts allowing for precise two-hole leveling; heavy-duty hoist ring; and a powder-coated finish.

Ditch Witch

For operators who need the power to drill through the toughest conditions, including solid rock, Ditch Witch®, a Charles Machine Works Company, has upgraded the JT100 and JT100 All Terrain horizontal directional drills (HDD) to Tier 4 emission standards. Powered by 260-hp (194-kW) Cummins® engines, the two drills supply raw power to all machine functions to install pipe and other underground utilities faster and more efficiently than before, reducing downtime on the job so operators can keep drilling and remain profitable. With 100,000 lbs. of pullback and 12,000 ft-lbs. of torque, the JT100 is the ideal partner for challenging and long bores, such as river crossings, and installation of large-diameter pipe. The JT100 also features improvements in noise abatement, running productively and quietly in residential and other urban areas. Exclusive dual-pivot drill frames allow for steeper angles of entry without having to raise tracks off of the ground, which provides improved machine stability and overall operator comfort.

MTI Power Services Inc.

MTI Power Services Inc. designs equipment specifically used in the pipeline industry. The equipment features a special attachment to follow the contour of the pipe O.D. CASE Construction Equipment has introduced two new crawler excavators to its D Series lineup: the CX490D and CX500D. These new models are designed for heavy excavation work and replace the company’s previous 47-metric ton excavator the CX470C. Each model is built to provide significant operational gains, including cycle times up to 10 percent faster, improved responsiveness and multifunctional controls, and greater fuel efficiency. An electronically controlled hydraulic pump and larger control and solenoid valves boost breakout forces, increase lifting strength and improve responsiveness. D Series models offer more standard features than previous CASE excavators, simplifying the buying process and making them extremely versatile and operator friendly. All CASE D Series excavators provide peace of mind and lower total cost of ownership through CASE ProCare™. The CX500D—the largest Tier 4 Final excavator in the D Series—is a dedicated model for mass excavation that provides outstanding breakout forces and performance. With a special heavy-duty attachment coupler, larger bucket cylinders and optimized kinematics, the CX500D works with larger buckets than the CX490D, providing industry leading speed, productivity and efficiency.

McElroy’s new fusion machine, the MegaMc® 1648 Series 2, is mounted on a wheeled chassis and is removable for in-ditch or close quarters work. The carriage can convert from 4 to 3 jaws as needed and interchanges easily with its tracked counterpart to create a self-propelled, all-terrain, track-mounted fusion machine. “The MegaMc 1648  is designed to give contractors the flexibility they need on any jobsite where large-diameter pipe (16-OD to 48-inch OD) is being fused. An electric-powered hydraulic system gives the Series 2 twice the amount of force capability to assist in all fusion functions, including the complete operation of the jaws, pipe lifts, heater and facer. The Series 2 allows for the butt fusion of most fittings without special holders or the removal of the outer jaw. Mitered inserts are available for fabricating ells.
