SlatTrax® is a ground protection system for your skid loader that rolls out or retrieves up to a 100-foot temporary roadway in about 2 minutes. The system includes a hydraulically-powered attachment that holds dual spools of Trax™ — each 36-inch wide or 42-inch wide — up to 100 feet in length. Break-point sections in Trax allow for manual maneuvering. System can be used on hills, curves, turf and hard cover.  Optional trailer holds a complete SlatTrax system with (2) 100-foot spools.

The new PS 1 Portable Vacuum Lifting System from Vacuworx weighs just 25 lb yet lifts up to 2,200 lb and can handle a variety of materials including concrete, marble, granite, metal, steel and iron. Rechargeable 12V battery has an 8 hour run time.  Priced under $3,000!

Ditch Witch

Ditch Witch® enhanced its lineup of vacuum excavators with the trailer-mounted FX65 and truck-mounted FXT65 models for increased productivity on the job site. Turbocharged with a 74-hp (55-kW) Deutz® Tier 4 diesel engine and 1,215 cfm (34.4 m3/min), these units are designed to optimize airflow for the highest performance output. Offering exceptional suction and water pressure, the vacuum excavators can handle sizeable cleanup jobs, larger excavations and potholing. In addition, an auxiliary hydraulic power system enables a variety of tools from impact wrenches to jackhammers. The FX65 model is available as a trailer-mounted unit. The FXT65 is integrated into a truck chassis.  These versatile systems are equipped with excellent water excavation capabilities, and a high-powered air excavation system is also offered on the FXT65 Air model.

ValvTechnologies Inc.

ValvTechnologies Inc. introduced a fast-acting, high-cycle NexTech® pulsejet valve with EcoPack™ stem packing solution for the reduction of fugitive emissions. Reducing fugitive emissions is a leading concern in the fight against climate change. The EPA estimates that the production segment of the oil and natural gas industry is responsible for 45% of total methane emissions. In 2015, the first-ever plan to regulate emissions from this industry was launched: because valve leakage is responsible for more than 50% of total fugitive emissions, valves have been a considerable focus in the effort to reduce fugitive emissions. ValvTechnologies’ is leading the charge in the reduction of fugitive emissions with the development of the pulsejet valve with EcoPacktechnology: a superior stem packing solution for high-cycle, fast-acting valves that meets stringent fugitive emissions requirements.

The new 19 tonne DX190W-5 Stage IV compliant wheeled excavator from Doosan Bobcat EMEA provides significantly higher performance in every area, combining enhanced comfort and controllability together with new features to boost fuel efficiency, uptime and return on investment, with a focus on increased power, robustness and agility. Like all Doosan Stage IV machines, a distinctive new machine styling scheme heralds the many design advances, which go well beyond simply meeting Stage IV emission regulations, setting a new benchmark for wheeled excavators worldwide. From the standpoint of performance, the DX190W-5 has 7% more traction force compared to the previous generation model; the engine torque has been increased by 5%; fuel consumption has been reduced by an average of 10% and lifting capacities have increased on average by 4% (front/side).

Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas today introduced a new model in its HX Series of Tier 4 Final-compliant hydraulic excavators – the compact-radius HX145LCR. It provides up to 10-percent better fuel economy and 5-percent increased productivity versus previous models. The HX145LCR joins a family of nine other Hyundai HX models the company began introducing in 2015 to North American markets. Hyundai is displaying the new model at the BAUMA 2016 international construction expo. The 14-metric ton (14 780-kg / 32,580-lb) HX145LCR excavator is a compact-radius model, powered by a Perkins 1204F Tier 4 Final engine rated at 116 hp (87 kW). Designed for working in confined spaces, the HX145LCR has a tail swing radius of just 4 ft 11 in (1 500 mm).
