Obituary: E. Paul Miller

E. Paul Miller, 89, of Clyde, more recently of Delaware, OH, died in Dublin Methodist Hospital on Tuesday, March 24, 2015. He was born in rural Clyde on June 28, 1925, to the now deceased Harold and Elma (Perrin) Miller. He graduated from Green Springs High School in 1941. For many years he was vice president of Miller Pipe Line, retiring in 1999. Miller was a member of First Presbyterian Church. He really enjoyed snowmobiling, motorcycle riding and being a pilot. His true joy was his grandchildren. On June 23, 1948, he married Anita Foultner. She preceded him in death on July 24, 2008.
  Survivors include their son, Scott E. (Chris) Miller of Delaware; three grandchildren, Lindsey (Jeremy) Lozier, Brittany Miller and Scott Miller; and two great-grandchildren, DeLaney and Kenley Lozier. Also surviving are five brothers, Frank Miller of Clyde, Don (Carolyn) Miller of Fremont, Dale (Judy) Miller of Brownsburg, IN, Karl (Lynette) Miller of Carmel, IN, and Dean (Amie) Miller) of New Orleans; and one sister, Joyce (Tom) Craig of Green Springs. Miller was preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn Miller and George Miller; and one sister, Elsie Ayres.
  Due to the death of Miller’s brother, Frank Miller, visitation for both brothers was 4-8 p.m. Friday, March 27, at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Clyde. The funeral was at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at First United Methodist Church, Clyde. Burial followed in McPherson Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
