Pipeline Construction Project Can Be Placed in Service

FERC has approved Equitrans, L.P.’s request to place into service the TP-371 Pipeline Replacement Project in Armstrong and Indiana Counties, Pennsylvania.

“We find that Equitrans has adequately stabilized the construction workspaces and that rehabilitation and stabilization of the construction work areas are proceeding satisfactorily and in compliance with the Order,” J. Rich McGuire, Director, Division of Gas-Environment and Engineering, said.

The TP-371 Pipeline Replacement Project included the following:

  • Upgrading 21 miles of an existing 36 mile portion of the Allegheny Valley Connector System in Armstrong and Indiana Counties, PA.
  • Replacing the original 12-inch diameter pipeline with a 20-inch diameter pipeline
  • Installing a pig launcher/receiver
