The Associated Pipe Line Contractors, Inc.’s Job No. 1202 in Sarver, PA collected over 1,100 toys and more than $700 for the Toys For Tots Drive! The toys and cash were presented to the Bantam Marines Detachment #743, Marine Corps League, Inc. of Butler, PA, at the APLCI Field Office.
The drive was a collective initiative between more than 300 members of the Operators, Teamsters, Laborers, Welders, Associated Pipe Line Contractors, Inc. and NiSource Midstream.
Kevin Berryman of Associated Pipe Line Contractors, Inc. said the effort shows how pipeliners contribute to the communities they work in.
“Christmas is a time of giving, and what better way to give than to help a family in need by putting a present under the tree for a child who wouldn’t otherwise receive one,” he said.”The stimulation, happiness and memories that toys provide are very important to the growth of children, and we’re helping to put toys into the hands of those who would otherwise have never gotten them.”
The Marine Corps League and Bantam Marine Detachment #743 in Butler, PA also wished all the workers, CEOs, owners and supervisors a Merry Christmas and Happy and Prosperous New Year.
