Rayne XPress Expansion Can Be Placed in Service

FERC has approved TransCanada’s request to place into service the Rayne XPress Expansion Project located in Carter, Menifee, and Montgomery Counties, Kentucky.

According to FERC’s Rich McGuire, the company has adequately stabilized areas disturbed by construction and restoration is proceeding satisfactorily. McGuire added that TransCanada will continue restoration and winterization activities and file required monthly status reports until all remaining restoration activities are complete.

The Rayne XPress Expansion Project includes the construction and operation of the new Grayson Compressor Station in Carter County, Kentucky, the new Means Compressor Station in Menifee and Montgomery Counties, Kentucky, and modification of the existing Means Measurement and Regulation Station in Montgomery County, Kentucky.
