Rex Energy Signs Two Transportation Agreements

Rex Energy Corp. announced the execution of two separate binding precedent agreements with Dominion Transmission Inc. and Texas Gas Transmission LLC, respectively, to transport natural gas volumes from Rex’s Butler Operated Area in Butler County, PA to the Midwest and Gulf Coast.
  The transportation agreement executed with Dominion will allow for expanded capacity on 235 miles of existing pipeline, referred to as the Lebanon West II Project, from Rex’s Butler Operated Area to the Lebanon Interconnect located in Warren County, OH. Under this agreement, Rex has secured firm transportation for 130,000 MMbtu/d of natural gas for a period of 20 years beginning in late 2016.
  In addition, Rex recently executed a transportation agreement with Texas Gas that will allow for expanded capacity on 690 miles of existing pipeline, known as the Ohio-Louisiana Access Project, from the Lebanon Interconnect in Warren County, OH to the Gulf South Bosco Meter (which will access the Perryville Exchange) in Perryville, LA. Pursuant to this agreement, Rex has secured firm transportation for 100,000 MMbtu/d for a period of 20 years beginning in 2016.
