Stahlin Non-Metallic Enclosures has been chosen as one of “West Michigan’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” for the 11th year in a row by Michigan›s Business & Professional Association. The 101 Best and Brightest awards are presented by the Michigan Business & Professional Association (MBPA) and recognize companies for strategies they use to create the best human resource practices for their employees. The process for determining the 101 best is three fold: first, companies are nominated by individuals; second, the human resources manager of each nominated company is contacted and asked to complete an extensive survey; third, the company’s employees are randomly selected to complete an extensive survey about their work environment. An independent market research firm employed by the MBPA examines each application statistically for both quantitative and qualitative data that is then submitted to the panel of judges. The data includes information on the company’s achievements in all of these areas: communication, community initiatives, compensation and benefits, diversity and multiculturalism, employee education and development employee engagement and commitment, recognition and retention, recruitment and selection and work-life balance. Those with the highest points are selected as winners.
