Serbia’s Gastrans Invites Binding Bids for New Gas Link

BELGRADE (Reuters) – Serbia’s Gastrans has invited binding bids to book capacity at a planned section of Gazprom’s TurkStream pipeline, which will carry Russian natural gas across Serbia to Europe. The planned 250-mile pipeline through Serbia, which connects the country’s natural gas transmission system to those of Bulgaria and Hungary, is expected to be completed by Dec. 15, with capacity of 13.88 Bcm a year. Williams, Targa Plan New Pipeline Projects

Williams and Targa Resources announced new NGL agreements and pipeline projects that will link the Kansas and Mont Belvieu, Texas, markets. Williams will build a 188-mile Bluestream Pipeline from its fractionator in Conway, Kan, and the southern terminus of Overland Pass Pipeline to an interconnect with Targa’s Grand Prix NGL Pipeline in Kingfisher County, Okla. Targa will construct a 110-mile extension of Grand Prix from southern Oklahoma into the Sooner Trend (oil field), Anadarko (basin), Canadian and Kingfisher (counties) (“STACK”) region of Central Oklahoma where it will connect with Williams’ new Bluestream Pipeline. Adelphia Gateway LLC announced the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Staff issued its Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Adelphia Gateway Pipeline Project recommending that the FERC Certificate Order for the project contain a finding of no significant environmental impact. The EA process is designed to independently analyze Adelphia Gateway’s proposed conversion of an existing oil pipeline to natural gas and assess potential environmental impacts of the construction and operation of the Project. Court: Do-over needed on New Jersey natural gas pipeline plan

PEMBERTON, N.J. (AP) — A New Jersey appeals court says a hotly contested plan for a natural gas pipeline through the ecologically sensitive Pinelands region needs a do-over. The panel on Monday returned the matter to the state Pinelands Commission, ruling that its executive director did not have the authority to determine that the plan complied with the commission’s rules for development. The Sierra Club and other environmental groups challenged the 2015 decision. The commission will now have to review the application of South Jersey Gas and decide whether it complies with Pinelands management rules. […]
