Longtime Pipeliner, Executive Charlie James Dies at 84

Longtime pipeliner Charles (Charlie) F. James, 84, died Jan. 7 in Mountain Home, AR where he lived. James was born in Holly Springs, AR to Bill and Amy (Higgison), and spent a great deal of time with his grandparents, D.E. and Arminda James, and his uncle and aunt, Gurt and Jewel James. James entered the Navy at 16 and served in the Korean War, returning six years later. He began pipelining as a laborer with R.H. Enterprise Exec to Head Texas Pipeline Association

James A. Cisarik, Enterprise Products Holdings Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and Public Relations, has been elected chairman of the Texas Pipeline Association (TPA). The association made the announcement last Friday at its annual meeting, held at the Hilton Doubletree Hotel in downtown Houston. Williams Appoints Two New Independent Directors

The Williams Companies, Inc’s. Board of Directors has appointed two new highly-qualified independent directors, Charles “Casey” Cogut and Michael A. Creel, effective immediately. The two new directors will stand for election at Williams’ 2017 Annual Meeting of Stockholders, scheduled for May 18, 2017. Cogut and Creel were identified through the board’s previously announced search process. Louisiana Pipeliners Association Elects 2017 Officers and Board Members

The Louisiana Pipeliners Association, a non-political and non-profit corporation formed in 1996 for the purpose of promoting all aspects of the pipeline industry in Louisiana, closed out its year by electing new officers, reinstating board members and announcing it had raised over $100,000 in 2016 for the association’s scholarship fund.
