TexStar Midstream Logistics Pipeline LP has launched an open season to obtain commitments from interested parties for service on the new TexStar East Texas Pipeline which will transport Eaglebine crude and condensate from Madison, Walker, Grimes and Montgomery counties in Texas to the Houston Ship Channel. TexStar plans to operate the pipeline as a common carrier system under a FERC tariff. Some 200,000 barrels of crude and condensate will flow daily through the new pipeline. TexStar will build and operate the new 120-mile 16 inch pipeline and has already received commitments from a major integrated energy company and select producers in the Eaglebine for 50,000 bpd of capacity. TexStar plans to begin construction shortly and be fully operational in the first quarter of 2016.
