The Ohio Operating Engineers Apprenticeship & Training Fund (OOEAF) is the training program for the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 18 (I.U.O.E.). It is an industry sponsored and funded registered Apprenticeship Training program that is helping to meet the challenge of Ohio’s ever expanding oil and gas industry.
One of the many partners of the training program includes Outlaw Padding Company of Phoenix, AZ. The program extends thanks to Albert Ben Currey with Outlaw Padding for the recent donation of a new padding bucket for their Cat 320 Excavator. Outlaw Padding exclusively uses American made parts and components on all of their products.
Local 18 is known for its training programs that are conducted at four indoor facilities and provide  courses for Pipeline, OSHA Safety, OQ Pipeline, Dozers, Excavators, Sidebooms, Vacuworx, MSHA (Mine Safety) and many more dealing with the ever-changing regulations.
