FERC has approved TransCanada’s request to use the following additional temporary workspaces along the Leach XPress Project’s LEX Pipeline:

  • 1.24 acres on the east side of the right of way at mileposts 26.05 to 26.09 along Spread 2 in Monroe County, Ohio to retrieve sediment and install erosion control devices along a slip
  • 0.78 acres on the south side of the right of way at mileposts 57.89 to 57.92 along Spread 2 in Noble County, Ohio to retrieve sediment and install erosion control devices along a slip
  • 4.49 acres on the north side and south sides of the right of way at mileposts 27.35 to 27.49 along Spread 2 in Monroe County, Ohio to retrieve sediment and install erosion control devices along a slip

The $1.4 billion Leach XPress Project will allow for the safe transport of 1.5 Bcf/d of natural gas from the Marcellus and Utica supply basin along the 160-mile greenfield project, which crosses the northern panhandle of West Virginia and then traverses southeastern Ohio.
